Bobby & Laurie - Exposiac

The third and last album recorded in 1967.  After this they split - what a pity.  Great band but this album doesn't match up to their best ('Hitchhiker') nor their first self titled album.  Still, much better than most of the stuff out there.

  1. You might wanna review this one. The first song sounds like an entirely different group. And all the other tracks are exactly one off from the title! Kinda like to know who does the first song, sounds kinda like Love.

    1. ....not sure who you think sings the first track.....but I can assure you, that it is indeed, Laurie Allen and Bobby Bright. These boys were so far ahead of their time.....and coupled with the genius of Tony Geary.....this album never received the absolute credit it deserved. To see Bobby & Laurie ‘live’ back in the 1960’s....was an experience never to be forgotten....again...they were major innovators of the inaugural Melbourne ‘Rock Scene’....a brilliant album....backed by The Rondells....fronted by Gary Young, Wayne Duncan, Roger Treble & Barry Rogers....they, in themselves....just brilliant.

  2. The song titles were all ass-about Darat. Have re-jigged this so that they now are correct. The first song certainly is Bobby & Laurie and yes - it does sound like Love. Certainly the stand-out track on the album.
